This year, pupils of specialized schools in Almaty, Astana and Karaganda, as well as students of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy and the capital's Kazakh National University of Arts applied for the Batyrkhan Shukenov's scholarship. All of them are winders. 
Young musicians provided video recordings of the performance and then they were to be interviewed by the members of the professional committee. It included professional musicians, soloists Damir Burkitbayev and Kanat Omarov, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation - Baurzhan Shukenov. In total, 42 applications were received and 7 scholarship holders were selected.

Arina grew up with the music and songs of Batyrkhan Shukenov, so it is a great honor and responsibility for her to become the scholarship holder.

Menslu has been preparing the program for the Batyrkhan Shukenov’s scholarship for a whole year and she is sure that the spirit of winning, right presentation and perseverance helped her to get support from the Foundation this year.
