The funds will be transferred to the Aralym-Aidyn Shalkarym Public Foundation, which will then be distributed for the priority needs of the affected population. In the region, the problem of livestock access to water and fodder supply is acute due to the prolonged drought. At the moment, more than 500 heads of cattle have already died in the area.

The first project stage will start in Almaty, where the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation will install greenhouses in 16 public schools. In the next two years, Nur-Sultan and Shymkent will join the initiative by installing 40 more greenhouses. The first greenhouse was opened at school No. 177 of the Zhetysu District of Almaty.

The Bulat Utemuratov's Foundation is launching the Leadership Academy program in cooperation with the Akimats of the Turkestan Region and Shymkent. The program goal is to support and develop leadership skills among schoolchildren in grades 5-11 and teach skills that are in demand and that are not taught in school

Residents of Ridder town in the East Kazakhstan region, whose houses burned down in a fire on May 10, received “Aid Cards” totalling 30 million Tenge from the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation as part of the joint project with the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan and Fortebank.

Each family affected by the fire in Ridder will receive 1 million Tenge from the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation within the framework of the Aid Card project implemented jointly with the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan and Fortebank.
