BALAMEKEN

BALAMEKEN

About the Project

The Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation initiated the Balameken Project in order to provide the citizens of our country in need with accommodations. The first new settlers are the multi-child families in Kyzylorda city. Jointly with the Akimat of the Kyzylorda Region, 75 duplex houses were built, of them 50 houses were financed by the Foundation. Each of the duplex houses is designated for two families, each family has own entry and six are of land.

The Foundation could not stay on the sidelines after the tragedy in Arys Town. In July it was decided to allocate the funds for construction of new microdistrict called Balameken in Arys Town for 50 duplex houses. Handing in the keys took place on November 13, 2019. The residents have already settled in the fine finished houses with equipped kitchens and bathrooms. The families whose houses were completely destroyed as a result of explosions as well as the multi-child families and families with disabled children received the housing accommodations.

150 houses were built by the Foundation in Makhtaaral district, Turkestan region for victims of the flood that took place last spring as a result of the dam failure. Three-room houses with an area of 100 sq. m were built in a new, promising area of Myrzakent. Residents of Dostyk, Zhanaturmys and Zhenis settlements, whose houses were destroyed, were resettled here.

The Bulat Utemuratov's Foundation donated houses to 40 Aral families. Multi-child families, orphans, people with disabilities and families living in unfit houses have become the owners of new apartments. There are 40 apartments in ten new buildings, 20 of which are three-room apartments with an area of 64 sq.m and 20 - two-room apartments with an area of 47 sq.m. The apartments are supplied with utilities (electricity, gas and drinking water) and provided with installed sanitary and household appliances (gas stove and water heater). A land plot with an area of 6 ares was allocated for each apartment owner.
