680 million tenge was donated by the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation to help flood-affected residents of Kazakhstan.
“Today, like millions of our fellow citizens, we deeply empathize with the people who lost their property in the flood-affected regions and hope that the donated funds will allow them to purchase basic necessities and help them get through these challenging days”, said Marat Aitmagambetov, Director of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation.
The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation provides systematic support to Kazakhstanis affected by natural and technogenic disasters. Since 2018, the Foundation, along with the Red Crescent and ForteBank, has been providing targeted financial assistance to people affected by floods. Over 6 years, more than 16.4 thousand Kazakhstani people have received financial support within the «Aid Card» project. The total amount of the provided financial support is more than 1.1 billion tenge.
