Autism. One World for All

The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation has been implementing the “Autism. One World for All” program since 2015. Its goal is to develop an effective support system for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in Kazakhstan. The program focuses on early diagnosis, evidence-based behavioral support, and assistance for families raising children with ASD.

Program Objectives

-Improve access to and quality of support for children with ASD

-Build a sustainable support infrastructure

-Raise public awareness about ASD

-Support parents and professionals

Asyl Miras Centers

As part of the program, a network of 13 centers has been established in 12 regions across Kazakhstan. These centers operate according to international standards and provide free behavioral programs based on scientifically proven methods, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). All specialists undergo mandatory training and certification.

Since 2015, more than 17 000 children have received support through the centers.

The programs focus on developing communication, self-care, and social skills, as well as reducing behavioral challenges. Over 70% of participants show significant positive progress.

Working with Families

The centers provide comprehensive support for parents, including:

-Training in the basics of behavioral therapy

-Consultations on parenting and child development

-Participation in individual and group sessions

Raising Public Awareness

The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation conducts ongoing efforts to raise public awareness of ASD. Each year, we organize awareness campaigns, events, and media collaborations, with particular emphasis on World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 annually.

  • 25 000 children are enrolled in Asyl Miras
  • 17 308 children have joined intervention programs
  • 80% of children with confirmed ASD received assistance under intervention programs
