Shabyt Children and Youth Creativity Centre, Zhezkazgan
The Shabyt Children and Youth Creativity Centre is the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation’s first facility in the Ulytau Region. Covering a total area of 2,603 square metres, it can accommodate 250 children at a time.
The Centre features 14 modern, fully equipped classrooms and learning spaces, including an art studio, ceramics workshop, robotics classrooms, digital arts and computer science studio, physics, mathematics and natural sciences classrooms, a photography studio, music classrooms, a chess room, an early childhood development centre, as well as dedicated halls for choreography and martial arts. The classrooms are equipped with interactive displays, robotics and STEM equipment, 3D printers, and laser cutting machines.
The building also includes a 150-seat auditorium and multifunctional spaces for recreation and independent study. Additional facilities include a sensory room, accessible restroom facilities, and a medical office. The Centre has been designed as a fully accessible, barrier-free environment for people with disabilities.
