The Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation supported the Yel Tiregi – Yelbassy Campaign of the Halyk Charitable Foundation
4,000 food baskets formed by the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation will be delivered to residents of the most densely populated cities of the country: Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent and Kyzylorda.

Food baskets will be given to low-income families with many children and families having children with special needs. Lists of families are formed in cooperation with regional akimats, and delivery of baskets is made by volunteers.
“The Yel Tiregi – Yelbassy Campaign became a real example of unity, concern and kindness of our compatriots. More and more businessmen, companies and caring Kazakhstan citizens join the Campaign. Today, due to the help of the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation, 4,000 more families will receive food baskets,” says Dinara Kulibayeva, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Halyk CF.
“We are glad to take part in the Yel Tiregi – Yelbassy Campaign and provide support to families who found themselves in a difficult life situation during the pandemic and quarantine restrictions. Today, more than ever, our society must unite and help those who need it most, because this is the only way to overcome all the hardships,” said Marat Aitmagambetov, Director of the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation.
The Yel Tiregi – Yelbassy Campaign started on March 17. The initiator of the Campaign is the Halyk Charitable Foundation, which donated more than 15,000 food baskets to low-income families. The Campaign was supported by well-known businessmen and companies; they helped in delivery of 16,000 food baskets to different regions of the country.
As part of the Campaign, more than 35,000 families received baskets, in total more than 1.7 million kg, weighing more than 50 kg of food for each family.
The Halyk Charitable Foundation plans to hold the Yel Tiregi – Yelbassy Campaign repeatedly throughout 2021 and encourages representatives of the business community and other charitable organizations to join.
