The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation will allocate 1 million Tenge to each family that lost their houses during a large-scale fire in Ridder
Each family affected by the fire in Ridder will receive 1 million Tenge from the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation within the framework of the Aid Card project implemented jointly with the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan and Fortebank.

On May 10, a large-scale forest fire took place in Ridder. According to preliminary data, the fire destroyed 31 residential houses, 7 household outbuildings and 1 auto repair shop. An elderly woman died, two persons were injured.
Bank cards to the amount of 1 million Tenge will be issued to all affected families in the coming days, as soon as the Red Crescent Disaster Response Team assesses the situation and needs of the injured.
“Having heard that there was a fire in Ridder, our team could not stand aside and decided to immediately look for the ways to support those in trouble. To make the assistance timely and expedient, we decided to provide financial support in the amount of 1 million Tenge to each family that lost their houses. Unfortunately, there were casualties because of the fire. I express my deep condolences to the family and friends of the deceased Galina Filaretovna Spivakova,” said Marat Aitmagambetov, Director of the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation.
The Aid Card joint charity project has been successfully implemented since 2018, providing assistance to victims of natural and man-made disasters. Since 2018, within the framework of the Aid Card project, the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation has provided financial support for a total amount of about 1 million US Dollars.
