Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation Project Was Presented in Almaty
The Balaman Project promotes healthy lifestyle among children in Kazakhstan through the creation of entertaining and educational content in the Kazakh and Russian languages about healthy nutrition and physical activity.

On January 31, presentation of the Balaman Project took place. Goal of the Project is the creation of informative and interest content about healthy lifestyle for Kazakhstan children.
The Balaman Project promotes healthy lifestyle among children in Kazakhstan through the creation of entertaining and educational content in the Kazakh and Russian languages about healthy nutrition and physical activity. Within the framework of the Project, informative and short animated videos and other interesting materials will be created which will tell in an intelligent form about the healthy lifestyle principles. Content will be published at official web-site: balaman.kz, YouTube and in social networks. The Project is supported by blogger Aminka-Vitaminka and winner of Voice. Children (Ukraine) Daneliya Tuleshova.
The author of the Balaman Project is Dr. Almaz Sharman, a medical scientist, a specialist in biomedical and medical-demographic research, and the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation.
“The goal of the Project is health improvement of the Kazakhstan younger generation which is the future of our country. The goals of the Program coincide with the mission of the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation. This year, we are planning huge work for creation of qualitative, interesting video content. We are sure that the healthy lifestyle principles presented via new modern formats will help to attract and hold attention of children and adolescents. Moreover, children more willingly perceive and follow the advices of their peers. So, we strive to maximally speak with children in their language and involve popular children bloggers,” Almaz Sharman told.
The Balaman Program was developed by the Kazakhstan Preventive Medicine Academy in 2017. Last year, the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation allocated 22 million Tenge for further development of the Project.
As initiators of the Program told, the first package of shooting has been already completed. Video materials with the use of 2D-graphics and stop-motion animation are planned to be issued every two weeks. Now, it is already possible to watch the animated videos of the Balaman in all cinemas of Kinopark network in Kazakhstan.
