150 houses were built by the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation in Myrzakent, Makhtaaral district, Turkestan region for victims of the flood that took place last spring as a result of the dam failure. Today, the keys to the houses were donated to their future residents with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Akim of the Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev.

The Bulat Utemuratov's Foundation summarized the results of the Almaty Botanic Garden Reconstruction Project
Over 210 thousand persons visited the Almaty Botanic Garden within three months since its opening on June 15 after the reconstruction. For comparison: about 50 thousand persons visited the garden within 2017, which was the peak year in terms of attendance over the previous decade. The heads of the Foundation and the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction summarized the results of the renovated garden operation and spoke about their future plans.
Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation handed over the first COVID-19 automated laboratory complex
The first module laboratory complex for prompt and high-accuracy PCR screening of population for coronavirus was launched in the capital. The unique mobile laboratory having high-level biosafety and process automation was handed over gratuitously by the Bulat Utemuratov’s Foundation to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Akimat of Nur-Sultan City.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the Main Botanic Garden as part of his working visit to Almaty. The head of the state got acquainted with the results of the botanic garden reconstruction. The project was initiated in 2018 by the Bulat Utemuratov's Foundation at the request of the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction.
Almaty Botanical Garden Reconstruction is within Reach of Completion
Three new up-to-date entrance pavilions, beautification of 17.7 Ha of public areas, 2,760 additional cubic meter of water per day for plant watering, 13 kilometers of irrigation canals, many kilometers of drip and automatic irrigation systems, 1,500 grass-root lanterns, 130 surveillance cameras, 250 benches, 50 thousand square meters of renewed roads, 174.3 thousand of new plants are the results of the Almaty Main Botanic Garden reconstruction.
